George is on a material journey investigating physical composition, the way things function, the insides and the underneath.
Combinations of found objects and materials interact with the structures around them and their environments, questioning relationships and connectivity between all physical elements in the world. Co-existence, interaction and eventual breakdown are important aspects of the equation.
Bodies are considered as material, and the exploration includes concepts of fascination and disgust, the intrinsic meanings of materials, and how we make sense of the world by comparison with our bodies.
