This body of work is a representation of the relationship between nature and humans. Humans are changing so many aspects of the natural world for our own benefits. The process of the work is an important part of the way I want to convey the message of human intervention. The images are created in the darkroom, using a variety of different methods to simulate chemical pollution and how we continue to intervene. I can manipulate the way in which the images come out to a certain extent and have a prediction but I will never know the true end product. This process is a connection to the theme of human intervention and how we can not fully see what our damages will do until it’s too late.
