For my final project I wanted to use my house and housemates as the main focus. Last year I shot a similar but shorter project revolving around the idea of capturing the ever-changing makeup of the house. Student houses are awkward living spaces, they lack any sign of structure in terms of décor and design. This, coupled with people who are getting used to the idea of living without their usual support bubble, creates an interesting dynamic. The house shows signs of personality, not out of intention but through occupying this temporary space we see it as and act with that mindset.
