Working primarily with oil paints and photography I delved into the concept of female rage and the societal projections of emotion onto women. I attempted to display a slightly disturbing mood within these works to project the distressing nature of the topic on the audience. The entire 4x3ft oil painting features three women figures, each displaying varying emotions, most distant and anxious. In the centre of the canvas there is a red snake intended as a motif for Medusa and her often misconceived self.
