Within my work, I explore themes of identity and the self through the use of atypical materials, in an attempt to convey complex ideas and themes of emotion alongside a commentary on contemporary materials using a hands-on approach. Some pieces are intended to have a divide between artist and audience removing the notion of the pre scripted concept, allowing the viewer to interpret the piece how they wish, as well as others having a pre-assigned concept and idea with high quality, bespoke outcomes through an array of mediums such as painting and sculpting, often in multiples or as a set collection of hand made objects and figures.
