Decorated Doll
Mixed media, paper, porcelain doll and fake hair. 2020
I have decided to exhibit my work where its currently at, which is exploring body modification tattoos, piercings, scarification etc. This first started out as a positive outlook on my mental health and how carrying on with my passion for fine art has helped. Other than fine art, body modification is another passion and how getting tattooed and pierced makes people and myself feel better. The work has come to a porcelain doll named ‘Holly’. Decorating her in experimental markings, the photographs enhance the doll so the viewer can take a closer look. The whole piece from left to right is an experimental development of my current module.
