Whilst studying in Hereford, I have gotten involved with a range of community based movement activities that have led to a dissertation focused on the erosion of community ties and the essential role of traditional practices such as Morris dance which results in a sense of belonging and unity. As well as less traditional movement practice such as Aerial dance and circus.
Through these projects I have seen firsthand the transformative power of dance and performance in revitalizing community spirit and how accessible movement can be
My work is driven by a desire to create spaces where creativity and collaboration flourish, and where the joy of movement can be shared by all.
