His Final Appearance
Mixed media, dimension variable. 2020
His Final Appearance is a multimedia installation, comprising of a projection of old photographs onto a sheet and objects relating to the process. The piece is the result of a compelling story about loss, memories and the reunion of my grandfather who disconnected from our family in the early 1980’s.
Those viewing the piece can participate by using the remote to scroll through the photographs and look through the book I wrote documenting the process of locating his ashes.
His presence is near.
