Max is a contemporary Artist Blacksmith whose interior artworks are heavily influenced by his fascination with paleontology. With his collection of mirrors, he aims to reconnect us with the ancient life forms that are captured in the fossils that he studies, in an aesthetically pleasing way. With these forms, he creates bespoke tooling, which is used in conjunction with a press, to stamp and mark into the raw stock to reimagine these shapes and forms, to immortalise them in cold, hard steel.
