My photographic work documents the landscapes affected by the HS2 infrastructure project in the West Midlands. I aim to capture the impact of this development on the natural and built environment, revealing the profound changes taking place in the landscape. Through my lens, I explore the tensions between the natural and the man-made, revealing the loss of ancient woodlands and green spaces. My photographs serve as a document of this moment in time, sparking conversations about the importance of preserving our natural heritage. By bearing witness to the impact of HS2, I hope to contribute to a broader understanding of the profound changes taking place in our landscape, and the importance of preserving our natural heritage for future generations.
