David creates artwork that stimulates and manipulates the senses.
He makes textured objects that people can experience through touch: His sound sculpture invites people to play.
David makes these sensory objects because he is inspired and intrigued by the way people interact with his pieces and the inclusivity of them. He explored textures because he likes how different objects feel and is always exploring the world around him through touch.
He is influenced by sound and music because it is all-encompassing and how it can affect people in different ways both physically and mentally. In response to this, he has designed and created a sound sculpture to be an inclusive experience.
