My everyday work is not very far off from what I have chosen to focus on for my final project as I am highly inspired by everyday life and living, so I do really enjoy turning household items into little Illustrations. Another side of my art style is making up trippy and bold paintings on canvas, but for this project, I chose not to directly include it as I wanted to focus on creating something personal yet relatable and humorous to other students and even teachers. My main audience for this type of work is primarily students or anyone who has ever been in a situation of shared living so then they are able to relate to it and hopefully understand the silliness of it and see some jokes alongside it. I’m sure most people will agree it is a real different experience when living in student accommodation/ private housing so I could see many opportunities within this subject for me to turn this experience into a fun project for myself and others.
