I am a multi-disciplinary artist propelled by a feeling of alienation from the world around me. In this work, I examine short-form videos, and the effects of doom-scrolling on our minds and lives.
The video was edited with the same software used for TikTok and Instagram Reels, so that I could experience what it was like to be the creator of the content rather than the consumer and to take back the power I’ve lost over my attention. Through lighthearted play, I explore personal journeys and contemporary society’s absurdities, often taking on imaginary collaborators and exaggerated personas.
