Christie Murrain is a Foundation student at Hereford College of Arts. As part of a project exploring ‘values’ she chose to convey the bravery and courage of her family members. She wanted to celebrate the key women in her life, which is her Mum and Auntie. This idea resonated with Christie because the women of her family are so strong and deserve to be celebrated. She wanted to create playful, light hearted illustrations to convey the positive aura around her family members.
